Our Elementary Before and After School Program offers care within the Baltic school. Y-Club has wonderful activities such as; arts and crafts, science experiments, gross motor activities, fine motor activities, sensory and many more. Y-Club also offers homework help for students with busy schedules.

Program hours: 3:15pm-6pm

We will be open from 7:30-5:30 on some no school and early release days, non weather related. We will let families know the month prior which days we will be open for those. If you would like your child to attend those days you will need to sign them up for those day pay $30 per day in addition to the bi-weekly fees.

However, during winter break you will not be charged, your bi-weekly rate, for those 2 weeks. If you would like to sign up for the days we are open during winter break you will again need to sign your child up for those no-school days individually for $35 per day during winter break.

No-school days are not included in the biweekly tuition and need to be added by the parent a week prior so we can plan for staff.

We will notify families the month prior if we can offer no school days or early release days.

Summer Y-Kids

*We will not be discounting for days your child is not in our care while signed up. If your child is signed up for a week of care we will not prorate a day off if your child has a camp, vacation, or sick day. 

**We will be offering the part time after we have filled the full-time program with 15 kiddos. If we get 15 full time families, we will then open up the part time program.

Dates for this program will run from 5/20/24-8/16/24 Monday-Friday.

Hours for this program are 8am-5:15pm. You are welcome to drop off between the hours of 8 and 11am and pick up between 3:45 and 6pm. There is a gap in the time due to our field trips we will take daily.

Location for this program is the Baltic school and run out of the middle school wing. Parents will have full access, while students are attending, to the south side middle school doors. The front doors of the school will NOT be unlocked only the middle school doors will be for parents.

Meals will not be provided for your child, so we do ask that each family packs a lunch each day. There will be access to fridges and microwaves should they need them for their meals. We will provide an afternoon snack.

Field trips will be Monday-Thursday with Friday’s being a special day spent at the school. (We like to keep Fridays free of field trips in case families decide to go out of town. We will require the children to wear YMCA t-shirts in the pools.

Weekly schedules emailed to you on Sundays to help prepare your family for the field trips and what not. These will have details as far as times, extra clothes to have, and locations for the trips. Please keep an eye out for these.

*Please send your child with a backpack with a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, socks and underwear, and a water bottle each day. If you would like to leave it at the school, you are welcome to.

Schedule for full time rec

8:00-8:45- Arrival and free play

8:45-9:30- Classroom enrichment (Separate into designated groups and do a group learning activity.)

9:30-10:00- Free play in designated classrooms

10:00-10:30- Recess outside as a group

10:30-10:45- Tidy up classrooms and wash up for lunch.

10:45-11:15- Lunch

11:15-11:45- Free play in the gym/ change into swimsuits for field trip

12-3:15- Attend field trip (Most field trips we will leave around 12. This is not the case for ALL and we will communicate that change in time if that is the case.)

3:15- Return from field trip (Not all field trips will be during this time. Some may run longer or shorter. We will again communicate that if that is the case.)

3:15-3:45- Change out of swimsuits

3:45-4:00- Snack

4:00-5:00- Outside for free play (Depending on weather)

 

11-13 year old part time summer rec

Your child is only eligible for this camp if they are between the ages of 11-13. This option will only open after we have had 15 families register for the full-time program.

If your child will be a part of the part time program you will need to select the part-time 11-4 registration rate plan on your totals page. This will then change the cost from the part time rate to the full time rate.

Dates for this program will run from 5/20/24-8/16/24 Monday-Friday.

Hours for this program are 11-4. Kiddos can be dropped off from 11-11:30 and then picked up during the time frame of 3:30-4. Field trips will be Monday-Thursday. However, your child is still able to attend on Fridays for a special day at the school.

Because of the age of these kiddos, they will have a bit more freedom than the younger children do in the part time program. However, these two groups will coexist with each other in the same space, utilize the same staff, attend field trips together, and eat snack together upon arrival back to the school.

We do understand that these hours are not conducive for parents to be able to drop off and pick up, so we have created 2 options, if your child is under the age of 12, they are eligible to be enrolled into the full-time program. If you would still like to have that part time option, we will also give families the option to sign a permission form stating that it is okay for your child to be dropped off by another family or walk/ bike to the school on their own.

11:00-11:45- Each lunch (If you would like your child to eat with the other children, they will need to bring a lunch with them.)

11:45- Prepare for field trip (change into swimsuits and join groups.)

12:00- Leave for field trip (Most field trips we will leave around 12. This is not the case for ALL and we will communicate that change in time if that is the case.)

12:00-3:15- Attend field trip (Not all field trips will be during this time. Some may run longer or shorter. We will again communicate that if that is the case.)

3:15-3:45- Change out of swimsuits and eat snack. (Snack will be provided by us.)

4:00- Carpool/walk/ ride bike home.
