Our Elementary After School Program offers care within the Baltic school. Y-Club has wonderful activities such as arts and crafts, science experiments, gross motor activities, fine motor activities, sensory and many more. Y-Club also offers homework help for students with busy schedules.

Program hours: 3:15pm-6pm

We will not be open this school year for no school days. We will still be open for the early releases, unless otherwise notified.

If the school closes due to weather, we will also be closed. If the weather takes a turn at the end of the day we may also close. We will give parents a call and or email them if this would happen.

Payments will be pulled the Friday before the start of a new sessions. Sessions are 2 weeks long.

We will be discounting for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Spring Break because we do not charge additional fees for early release days.

Our program will run out of the 4th/5th grade wing at Baltic School.
Please note: The front doors will NOT be unlocked. Parents can call when they arrive, and staff will let you in at Door R (west side of the school).

Swimming & Field Trips

Students will swim at Wild Water West every Monday, Dell Rapids pool Tuesday and Thursday, a Sioux Falls splash pad Wednesday and a Sioux Falls park on Fridays.

Pool Pass Requirements:
Families will be required to purchase a Dell Rapids Pool Pass.
The YMCA will cover Wild Water West season passes for each child.

YMCA Field Trip Shirts:
The YMCA will provide a t-shirt for field trips.

Weather Notes:
We will always communicate any changes as early as possible.

Meals

Meals are not provided.
Please pack your child a lunch every day.
We have fridges and microwaves available, but highly encourage simple/quick lunches so children have plenty of time to eat. They will take a lot of the lunches with to eat picnic style.

An afternoon snack will be provided daily.

Weekly Schedules

A detailed schedule for the upcoming week will be emailed every Sunday.
This will include:

• Field trip times
• Location details
• What to bring
• Any special reminders

Please keep an eye out for these emails.

What to Bring Daily

Your child should have a backpack with:

• Swimsuit
• Towel
• Change of clothes
• Socks & underwear
• Water bottle

Families are welcome to leave bags at the school if preferred.

Attendance & Billing Reminder

Once a child is registered for a week, we cannot prorate for days missed due to:

• Camps
• Vacations
• Sick days
• Other absences

We staff and plan based on weekly commitments.
