Our Elementary Before and After School Program offers care within the Baltic school. Y-Club has wonderful activities such as arts and crafts, science experiments, gross motor activities, fine motor activities, sensory and many more. Y-Club also offers homework help for students with busy schedules.

Program hours: 3:15pm-6pm

We will not be open this school year for no school days. We will still be open for the early releases, unless otherwise notified.

If the school clothes due to weather, we will also be closed. If the weather takes a turn at the end of the day we may also close. We will give parents a call and or email them if this would happen.

Payments will be pulled the Friday before the start of a new sessions. Sessions are 2 weeks long.

We will be discounting for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve and Spring Break.

Summer Y-Kids

*We will not be discounting for days your child is not in our care while signed up. If your child is signed up for a week of care we will not prorate a day off if your child has a camp, vacation, or sick day. 

Dates for this program will run from 5/27/25-8/8/25 Monday-Friday.

Hours   7:45-5:30

Field Trips  are from 11:00-3:45 Monday thru Thursday. We ask that parents purchase a pool pass for Sioux Falls.  The pools we usually go to our Terrace Park Pool and Kuehn Park Pool.  We also go to Wild Water West Weekly.  Our “planned” field trip is usually Wednesday or Thursday.  We like to keep Fridays free of field trips in case families decide to go out of town. We will require the children to wear YMCA t-shirts in the pools.We had a strange summer last year with very cool temperatures in June so we had to cancel pool dates and get creative.  We will always notify you if there is a change of plans.

Location for this program is the Baltic school and runs out of the 4th/5th grade wing.  The front doors of the school will NOT be unlocked. Parents can call us and we will let them in at Door R (west side of school).

Meals will not be provided for your child, so we do ask that each family packs a lunch each day. There will be access to fridges and microwaves should they need them for their meals. We ask that you pack easy lunches because Microwaving meals takes away time from their lunch. We will provide an afternoon snack.

Weekly schedules emailed to you on Sundays to help prepare your family for the field trips and what not. These will have details as far as times, extra clothes to have, and locations for the trips. Please keep an eye out for these.

*Please send your child with a backpack with a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, socks and underwear, and a water bottle each day. If you would like to leave it at the school, you are welcome to.

7:45-8:45- Arrival and free play

8:45-9:15    Outside Recess

9:15-10:15  Group Activity

10:15-10:45 Indoor planned game

10:45-11:15- Lunch

11:15-11:45- Free play in the gym/ change into swimsuits for field trip

12-3:15- Attend field trip (Most field trips we will leave around 12. This is not the case for ALL and we will communicate that change in time if that is the case.)

3:15- Return from field trip (Not all field trips will be during this time. Some may run longer or shorter. We will again communicate that if that is the case.)

3:15-3:45- Change out of swimsuits

3:45-4:00- Snack

4:00- 5:00   Choice:  Outside/Inside for free play (Depending on weather)

5:00  Clean up and Relax
